The Baton Rouge Professional Hockey Club is seeking an energetic, entrepreneurial, and community-focused leader to serve as General Manager, Business Operations.
This individual will be responsible for leading the franchise's day-to-day business operations, driving revenue growth, developing corporate partnerships, overseeing ticket sales, and building meaningful relationships throughout the Baton Rouge community. This is a unique opportunity to help launch and shape the future of professional hockey in Baton Rouge, working with a new ownership group committed to creating a first-class fan experience and a sustainable, community-driven organization.

The Baton Rouge Professional Hockey Club is seeking an energetic, entrepreneurial, and community-focused leader to serve as General Manager, Business Operations.
This individual will be responsible for leading the franchise's day-to-day business operations, driving revenue growth, developing corporate partnerships, overseeing ticket sales, and building meaningful relationships throughout the Baton Rouge community. This is a unique opportunity to help launch and shape the future of professional hockey in Baton Rouge, working with a new ownership group committed to creating a first-class fan experience and a sustainable, community-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all business operations of the organization
- Develop and execute ticket sales strategies, including season tickets, group sales, and premium seating
- Generate and manage sponsorship and corporate partnership revenue
- Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and civic leaders
- Oversee game-day operations and fan experience initiatives
- Manage front office personnel, interns, and part-time staff
- Work collaboratively with arena management and team ownership
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Represent the organization at community events and public appearances
Qualifications
- Experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, sales, marketing, or business operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to generate revenue and build relationships
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to be hands-on
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in professional sports, minor league sports, entertainment venues, or event operations
- Sponsorship sales and partnership development experience
- Ticket sales and CRM experience
