Account Executive, Ticket Sales
Athens Rock Lobsters – Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL)
Location: Athens, GA | Full-Time | Reports to: VP of Sales
The Athens Rock Lobsters, proud members of the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL), are seeking a driven and experienced Account Executive, Ticket Sales, to join our front office team. This position is focused on revenue generation through the sale of full-season tickets, mini plans, group packages, and hospitality options.
We’re looking for a candidate who has 1–2 years of direct experience in ticket sales, preferably in sports, entertainment, or live events, and who is ready to take the next step in their career with a fast-growing professional team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Proactively sell season ticket packages, mini plans, group tickets, and hospitality areas through outbound calls, emails, and in-person meetings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through exceptional service and regular touchpoints
- Assist with the planning and execution of group nights and ticket sales promotions
- Manage and track all sales activity in CRM system and provide timely reports on goals and pipeline activity
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
- Work all home games and key team events, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Represent the organization professionally at networking events, community appearances, and team functions
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of successful ticket sales experience in professional or collegiate sports, live entertainment, or similar industries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for sales and relationship-building
- Demonstrated experience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and converting leads into buyers
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ticketing software (e.g., AXS Ticketmaster, Paciolan) and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) preferred
- Must be coachable, team-oriented, and goal-driven
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to attend all Athens Rock Lobster Games
