The Panthers are owned by Vincent J. Viola, a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a veteran of the U.S. Army. That foundation of selfless service shapes the organization's identity at every level. The Panthers' pillar program, "Heroes Among Us," honors a U.S. military veteran at every home game, and the Florida Panthers Foundation directs its efforts across four core pillars: veterans' affairs, children's health and education, raising awareness for the endangered Florida Panther and growing youth hockey throughout the region. The Corporate Partnerships Game Night Assistant will work hand in hand with the Florida Panthers Corporate Partnerships department on game night duties at Amerant Bank Arena. This role provides hands-on experience within a professional sports corporate partnership environment, including capturing proof of performance, assisting partners with gameday activations, and ensuring all partnership elements are in place and ready for each game night.
By gaining experience in the corporate partnership world and learning the culture of the organization, this role has the potential to lead to a full-time internship with the Florida Panthers or elsewhere in the sports industry.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Capture photos of partnership assets for use in decks and recaps for partners
- Assist the Corporate Partnerships team with game night activations for partners
- Assist the Corporate Partnerships team in delivering VIP experiences for partners including Zamboni rides, penalty box access, and Benchwarmers
- Walk the arena prior to and during events to ensure all partnership elements are set and execution-ready
- Strategically provide ideas and recommendations to improve partners' game night experiences
- Current college student or recently graduated
- Strong teamwork aptitude required
- Client-service attitude and strong professionalism with clients, vendors, and talent
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and support multiple high-level positions simultaneously
- Flexible schedule with availability for game nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays
This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
