OEG Sports & Entertainment is seeking seasonal team members to support the new ICE District Plaza. Located in the heart of downtown Edmonton, the ICE Plaza will feature a fully integrated outdoor ice surface, serviced by a full-size ice resurfacer. ICE Plaza team members will support the plaza on a seasonal basis with maintenance and operations of the ice surface.

Core Responsibilities:

• Minor snow removal.
• Refrigeration plant checks.
• Minor Zamboni ice resurfacer maintenance.
• Fan Engagement and crowd management.
• Keeping outdoor area safe, clean, tidy, and daily maintenance of ice surface.
• Ice resurfacing as required.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience operating an ice resurfacer.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and their operation is considered an asset.
• Strong fan engagement and customer service focus.
• Comfortable working in outdoor environment with cool climates.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Self-driven and able to operate independent of supervision for periods of time.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
