RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coverage of daily gameday needs as assigned, including shooting pre-game youth hockey, in-game ceremonies, fan & crowd shots, and game action.
- Properly archive and organize all images and files.
- Assist Railers staff with photo shoots and other miscellaneous needs, including live-editing and shooting community & corporate events.
- By the end of the internship, the Photography Intern will be able to leave with a well-rounded portfolio with feedback from Railers staff.
CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience or coursework in sports photography, news photography, or event photography.
- Ability to work at least 10 hours a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office required.
- Ability to carry and manage photography equipment, with potential travel to off-site events.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and produce content in real-time under short deadlines.
- Must be able to commit for the entirety of the spring semester.
- Videography and Graphic Design experience is a plus.
