Digital Media Coordinator

Reports To: Senior Director of Marketing
 Department: Marketing
 Status: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for managing and growing the organization’s digital presence across social media, website platforms, video content, and digital advertising channels. This role focuses on creating engaging digital content, executing social media strategy, overseeing website updates, and supporting the organization’s overall digital marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate is creative, digitally savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about storytelling through sports and entertainment content. This team member should also have a willingness to grow and learn and be motivated to take the next great step in their personal career, while continuing to help our organization grow upon our recent success. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Manage day-to-day operations of all team social media platforms 
  • Develop and execute social media content calendars and posting strategies 
  • Create engaging written, graphic, and video content tailored to each platform 
  • Monitor trends, fan engagement, and platform analytics to optimize performance 
  • Assist with live event coverage including games, practices, community events, and special appearances 
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all digital channels 
Website Management

  • Maintain and update team website content including news stories, promotions, schedules, ticket information, and sponsor integration 
  • Ensure website information remains current, accurate, and visually engaging 
  • Coordinate landing pages and digital campaign support as needed 
  • Monitor website analytics and user engagement metrics 
Video Production

  • Capture, edit, and produce video content for social media, website, marketing campaigns, and in-game entertainment 
  • Assist in planning and executing video shoots featuring players, staff, sponsors, and community initiatives 
  • Create short-form and long-form digital content designed to drive fan engagement 
  • Maintain video archives and digital media assets 
Digital Advertising

  • Assist in the execution and oversight of digital advertising campaigns across social media, search, display, and streaming platforms 
  • Coordinate digital ad creative, targeting, and scheduling 
  • Monitor campaign analytics and performance metrics 
  • Provide reporting and recommendations to improve digital campaign effectiveness 
Creative Services Support

  • Assist with graphic design and creative content development as needed 
  • Support organization-wide marketing initiatives through digital asset creation 
  • Ensure digital creative aligns with established branding standards 
Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with game day digital content and live coverage 
  • Support organizational marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives 
  • Stay current on emerging digital trends, platform updates, and best practices 
  • Other duties as assigned 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Video Production, or related field preferred 
  • 1–3 years of experience in digital media, social media, sports, or entertainment preferred 
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and digital trends 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, and content creation tools 
  • Familiarity with website CMS platforms and digital advertising platforms preferred 
  • Strong communication, creativity, and time management skills 
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule
