Job Overview
The Wichita Thunder are seeking a highly motivated, competitive, and relationship-driven Corporate Partnerships Manager to generate new revenue through corporate sponsorships, premium seating, and ticket sales.
This is a true revenue-generating role designed for a motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, building relationships, and closing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new corporate partners, creating customized marketing solutions, and growing ticket revenue while providing exceptional service to existing clients.

Core Responsibilities
Corporate Partnership Sales
- Prospect, develop, and close new corporate sponsorship opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, and face-to-face meetings.
- Develop customized sponsorship proposals that align with each partner's business objectives.
- Deliver professional presentations to business owners and executive decision-makers.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements while maximizing long-term organizational revenue.
Ticket Sales
- Generate new season ticket memberships, premium seating accounts, and group outings.
- Develop relationships with businesses for employee outings, client entertainment, and hospitality events.
- Identify opportunities to upsell ticket buyers into larger corporate partnerships.
Account Management
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate partners and season ticket holders.
- Ensure all contractual sponsorship benefits are executed accurately and on time.
- Conduct regular partnership review meetings to identify renewal and upsell opportunities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to maximize client retention.
Business Development
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Utilize the organization's CRM to track sales activity, meetings, proposals, and forecasts.
- Attend community events, networking functions, chamber events, and business expos to generate new leads.
- Continuously research local businesses and industries to identify new partnership opportunities.
Game Day Responsibilities
- Work all Wichita Thunder home games and select organizational events.
- Manage sponsor activations and hospitality experiences.
- Ensure premium clients receive exceptional game-day service.
- Assist with corporate partner fulfillment and game presentation as needed.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Game Operations, Broadcasting, Community Relations, and Ticket Operations to ensure successful execution of sponsorship assets.
- Contribute ideas for new sponsorship inventory and revenue-generating initiatives.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and departmental planning sessions.

Successful candidates will consistently:
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sponsorship revenue goals.
- Generate new business through proactive prospecting.
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified corporate prospects.
- Maintain high renewal rates through exceptional customer service.
- Become a trusted resource within the Wichita business community.
- Represent the organization with professionalism both inside and outside the arena.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Two or more years of successful sales experience preferred.
- B2B sales experience strongly preferred.
- Sports sponsorship or ticket sales experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
