Description
As an Account Executive for the Utah Grizzlies, you will begin building your sports resume through your performance developing relationships throughout Salt Lake that produce new ticket sales opportunities. A successful executive will use cold calls, face-to-face meetings and email marketing as methods for building lasting relationships with local businesses and individuals. As a member of our sales team, a high level of performance will enable you the opportunity to take on additional roles in both sales and management as your skills and resume continually develop. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Utilize Diverse Sales Methods: Generate business revenue through a variety of sales methods, including cold calls, face-to-face appointments, prospecting, and networking, to expand the client base and increase revenue streams.
  • Cold Calling and Relationship Building: Initiate cold calls to area companies from provided lists, focusing on building new relationships and expanding the client base.
  • Customized Hospitality Packages: Utilize a full catalog of inventory items, such as group seats, full and mini packages, food and beverage options, suites, and meeting space, to create customized hospitality packages that meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Aggressive Prospecting: Aggressively prospect and research new sales leads, identifying potential clients and opportunities for business growth.
  • Sales Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals in the areas of season tickets, group packages, and partial-plan ticket packages, driving revenue growth.
  • CRM System Management: Record all sales activity and maintain detailed sales pipeline information in the CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of leads and customer interactions.
  • Creates Memorable Experiences for Clients: Goes above and beyond to create unforgettable experiences for clients, enhancing their connection to the team and the sport.
  • Game Day Duties and Event Attendance: Be present at all home games to service customers, establish new relationships, and help manage game day duties, enhancing the overall fan experience.
  • Adaptability and Additional Responsibilities: Be adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Manager, contributing to the overall success of the sales team and organization.

  • Prior Sales Experience: Preferred, demonstrating an understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Experience in Sports Industry: Beneficial, providing insight into the industry's dynamics and challenges.
  • Willingness to Work Non-Traditional Hours: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • College Attendance Preferred: Some attendance at a college or university preferred.
  • Good Attendance and Reliability: Demonstrates good attendance and reliability.
  • Has a good attitude: Maintains a positive and enthusiastic attitude, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
