Role Summary
The Manager, A/V Systems & Broadcast Technical Operations will oversee all production elements at Fifth Third Field, Huntington Center and Hensville. This role will be responsible for maintaining and innovating the In Game and Broadcast productions. This role will collaborate with multiple departments to provide a fanatical experience through production elements. This position works on a flex hour schedule and will work gamedays, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manages the production team in a manner that reflects the highest standards of respect, professionalism, and fanatical experiences
  • Maintains files and records of all current and historic projects, productions, and events. 
  • Establish staffing, equipment & capital improvement budgets. 
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with production vendors and service providers. 
  • Oversees and assist in training of new employees on various in-house and broadcast equipment as needed. 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Technology, Media Production, Sports Management, or related field preferred. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Dakronics and Ross equipment and operation. 
  • 5+ years of live sports production experience.

  • Ability to execute several tasks at the same time and work well under pressure. 
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. 
  • Demonstrates impeccable project management skills. 
  • Demonstrates a talent for amicable problem solving and conflict resolution. 
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively to enhance game day production. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of baseball and hockey. 
  • High level experience working with or basic knowledge of A/V and/or broadcasting equipment. 

Working Environment

  • Occasionally lifting A/V equipment, weighing up to 50 pounds. 
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, etc. for the duration of the shift. 
  • Occasionally will be outdoors in all types of weather conditions. 
  • Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment.
