The Reading Royals Youth Hockey Association (RRYHA) is seeking volunteers to assist with youth hockey practices and team events. This unpaid position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hockey, enjoy working with young hockey players, and want to gain experience in youth sports. This position is a great opportunity for those looking to gain college credit and build their resume. 

Responsibilities include assisting coaches during practices, helping with drills, supporting team events, and creating a positive experience for players and families. We're looking for dependable, energetic individuals who want to give back to the game and serve as positive role models for our young athletes.

Qualifications:

●        Experience playing ice hockey and or coaching 3-5+ years

●        Understanding of USA Hockey, American Development Model (ADM)

●        A team player that enjoys working with others 

●        Strong communication skills and ability to connect with people 

●        Ability to create fun, positive, safe and memorable experiences 

 

Compensation: Unpaid Volunteer/Intern Position
Schedule: Flexible based on practice and event schedules
