The Norfolk Admirals of the ECHL are looking for multiple FOR CREDIT ONLY interns in the 2024-25 Academic Year starting in September 2024 and continuing through the season, ending in April 2025. Candidates must be current college students and must be able to dedicate 15-20 hours per week to the internship. Strong verbal skills are essential, as is the ability to work well in a dynamic, small-office environment. The successful candidate should be dependable, able to handle multiple tasks, and work long hours (evenings, weekends & holidays included).
Game Operations & Office:
- Interns will be required to attend every Admirals home game + additional team functions
- Interns should be motivated to represent the Norfolk Admirals brand
- Interns will work office hours during the week and get experience in ticket sales, corporate fulfillment, social media management, business administration, marketing, and more
- Interns will be required to attend Admirals community events as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Pursuit of Sport Management, Marketing, Communication, and/or business degree required.
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of projects.
