Description
The Account Executive is an entry-level sales position responsible for generating new business through the sale of full season, partial season, group, and premium ticket products. This role focuses on proactive outbound prospecting, relationship building, and delivering exceptional customer service to drive revenue growth. The Account Executive will conduct phone calls, emails, in-person meetings, and game-day execution to cultivate new leads and renew existing accounts. Success in this position requires strong work ethic, coachability, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a first-class fan experience.
Responsibilities
- Generate new ticket revenue through the sale of full season tickets, partial plans, group packages, and premium areas.
- Conduct a high volume of outbound sales calls, emails, and other prospecting efforts to identify new business opportunities.
- Schedule and execute in-person and virtual sales appointments with prospective clients.
- Learn and understand all Admirals ticket products, and convey this information to potential clients.
- Provide excellent customer service and relationship management for new and existing accounts.
- Host clients and prospects at games, including seat visits and in-arena meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal departments to deliver a seamless and memorable fan experience.
- Participate in sales training, team meetings, one-on-one meetings with supervisors, and professional development opportunities.
- Assist with game day responsibilities and special events as assigned.
- Additional directives as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or four-year collegiate equivalent preferred.
- Reliable and consistent transportation to/from Scope Arena, as well as Chilled Ponds in Chesapeake.
- Ability to work a regular 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule throughout the work week.
- Ability to work all home Admirals games, which will include long hours, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- A basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook email.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
