Position Summary
The Kansas City Mavericks are seeking enthusiastic, energetic individuals to join the Promotional Team. Team members represent the organization at community events throughout the Kansas City metro area, helping increase awareness of the team while creating a welcoming and engaging experience for fans.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Kansas City Mavericks professionally at community events and promotional appearances.
- Stay informed on team news, schedules, and promotions to answer fan questions accurately.
- Create a positive first impression and engage with fans of all ages.
- Assist with mascot interactions and ensure a family-friendly experience.
- Drive the Street Team Jeep Gladiator to and from events when assigned.
- Set up, maintain, and tear down promotional displays and equipment.
- Lift and transport promotional materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other non-traditional hours as required.

- Interest in hockey and the Kansas City Mavericks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (likely expected due to driving duties)
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and event setup
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation and willing to drive the Maverick's branded vehicle as needed
- Punctuality
- Work flexibility is important, this is a part-time position that will include nights, weekends, and gamedays
