Job Description & Essential Duties

Shaping the brand vision of the Kansas City Mavericks both graphically and visually
Create creative content to be used across all media platforms
Create and manage sellable social media content and activity
Prepare, create, and edit all print projects for final outsource
Speed editing and timely return of necessary graphics for social media posting
Create team graphics and themes for regular season, offseason, and other events for use on all digital and social media platforms
Assist with graphic design elements and sales support tools to help marketing efforts and increase sales
Identify and connect with current and future customers through creative engagement practices and promotional strategies that emphasize the Mavericks brand
Identify areas of improvement and implement viable solutions
Monitor market performance and customer feedback to fine-tune strategy and direction
Coordinate communication effort with licensees and other third parties
Collaborate with the Social Media department
Lead the production and design of all organizational creative deliverables including advertising, brochures, catalogs, flyers, order forms, signage, sponsor mockups and publications
Ensure that all graphics and publications are grammatically and factually correct while adhering to organizational style guide
Assist with marketing campaigns, creating social media graphics, promotional materials, digital communications, print projects and other initiatives
Assist with the planning and coordination of all Mavericks internal projects and graphic design related jobs

Game Night

Create graphics for social media posts
Assist with press box needs
Contribute in the management of social media platforms to ensure quality content is shared
Assist with In-Game Operations when needed
Assist with special event coordination, load-in, etc.
Be accessible via radio at all times

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional, fast-paced office and arena environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Normal days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5 PM. Additional hours of work and flexibility are necessary on nights, weekends, holidays and extended weekdays as job demands.
