The Kansas City Mavericks are seeking a highly motivated and professional individual to serve as the club's Goalie Coach/Video Coach for the 2026 - 2027 season.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development of our goaltenders while assisting the coaching staff with video analysis, pre-scout preparation, and day-to-day hockey operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily development of KC Mavericks goaltenders
- Conduct individual goalie sessions and video review meetings
- Prepare opponent pre-scouts and post-game video breakdowns
- Manage Sportscode and other video systems as used
- Assist with practice planning and on-ice coaching duties
- Support player development initiatives with ECHL, AHL, and NHL affiliates
- Assist with recruiting, player evaluation, and hockey operations projects
- Travel with the team throughout the season
Qualifications:
- Strong background in goaltending instruction and player development
- Experience with hockey video systems (Sportscode preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work within a fast-paced professional hockey environment
- Previous junior, collegiate, or professional coaching experience preferred
- Professional and trustworthy
