The Iowa Heartlanders are seeking outgoing, hockey-loving college students from (but not limited to) the University of Iowa, Kirkwood, Coe College and Mount Mercy, to join our Student Ambassador Program for the 25-26 Season. Ambassadors will help grow excitement for Heartlanders hockey on campus and in the community by sharing their experiences both online and in person. If you’re passionate about sports, social media, and connecting with your peers, this is your chance to represent your hometown ECHL team and have a blast doing it!
Requirements:
- Attend a minimum of three (3) home Heartlanders games each month
- Represent the Heartlanders by wearing team apparel around campus/class on home game days
- Expand the Iowa Heartlanders Marketing Reach:
- Post about every Heartlanders game or event you attend (Instagram/ TikTok)
- Share a gameday photo of yourself in Heartlanders gear on campus (Instagram/TikTok)
- Engage with Heartlanders social media content (like, comment, repost)
- Identify trends and opportunities to connect with the student audience and share with the Iowa Heartlanders Marketing team.
- Organize at least one group outing for a student organization during 25-26 Season.
- Organize at least one on-campus event featuring the Iowa Heartlanders
