Indy Fuel Pit Crew
Part-Time | Game Day Staff
The Indy Fuel are looking for strong, confident skaters to join our Pit Crew for the 2026–27 season. The Pit Crew is primarily responsible for maintaining the playing surface during games while also assisting with select game-day and fan engagement activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Skate during designated stoppages to shovel and clear excess snow from the ice
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional playing surface throughout the game
- Quickly and efficiently clear the ice within designated game stoppages
- Assist with moving goals and other on-ice equipment when needed
- Participate in pregame and intermission setup or breakdown of on-ice elements
- Follow direction from Game Presentation and arena operations staff
- Maintain awareness of players, officials, equipment, and other activity while on the ice
Additional Game-Day Responsibilities
- Assist with on-ice promotions, contests, and intermission activities
- Help with promotional setup and breakdown
- Interact with fans and represent the Indy Fuel in a positive and professional manner
- Assist the Game Presentation team with other game-day responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Strong ice-skating ability is required
- Must be able to skate confidently while carrying and operating an ice shovel
- Ability to skate quickly, stop confidently, and maneuver around obstacles
- Comfortable performing duties in front of large crowds
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the Indy Fuel season
