The Indy Fuel is looking for a hardworking individual who is eager and driven to succeed in filling the role of Graphic Designer. This individual will work to create graphics across THREE sports franchises: Indy Fuel, Bloomington Bison, and Fishers Freight Football.
  • Create identity/logo design for internal initiatives, events, and corporate partner events and programs.
  • Design in-game graphics and animations for digital channels.
  • Adapt design elements to carry out the continuity of the brand(s) throughout all collateral based on supporting strategy and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with photographers and videographers to produce creative and visually appealing content that aligns with the organization's business goals.
  • Work closely with the brand team to develop the organization's creative needs, including the evolution and documentation of the organization’s visual standards.
  • Author and develop style guides and identity systems for various programs and sub-brands.
  • Prepare final layouts for print and assist in the production process.
  • Mentor intermediate and junior designer(s) and guide in creating concepts, layouts, and final artwork.
  • Assist the sales/sponsorship department with mockups/models and sales decks. 
  • Will adjust work schedule to meet departmental demands, including being available to work a non-standard schedule supporting travel, hockey operations, events, and other Marketing activities, including holidays and weekends as needed.
  • Must be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Will accept other responsibilities and duties required by the supervisor consistent with the objectives and essential functions of this position. Such responsibilities shall be incorporated into the position description if they are ongoing

  • Must provide a design/work portfolio representative of a broad skill and creative set, including Presentation design (layout, content hierarchy, Photo editing/Compositing, Basic video)
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
  • Needs to be able to solve visual problems with innovative solutions.
  • Must be a strong collaborator and communicator. Needs to be able to work as a team player to communicate concepts, brainstorm, self-start and pitch big ideas.
  • Must be able to take direction well.
  • Needs to be able to develop scalable design systems to stay within the brand across all platforms.
  • Ability to manage time on their own and prioritize projects simultaneously. Needs to bring dedication to projects both small and large.
  • Must be able to work within and integrate the Fuel, Bison, or Freight Brand Guidelines with the style guides of current and potential partners.
  • A successful candidate will understand the “who” and the “why” of each team's brand identity and will work to apply them throughout their creative.
