The Idaho Steelheads are seeking dynamic, driven, and passionate individuals to join our Partnership Activation & Game Day Operations Internship Program for the 2025-2026 season. This hands-on internship, which begins in mid-September and runs through early April, offers a rare opportunity to gain valuable experience in the fast-paced world of professional sports and live event production.
This is an ideal role for students or recent graduates looking to launch their careers in sports business, event management, partnership activation, or live entertainment production.
What You’ll Do
Partnership Activation
You’ll play an integral role in supporting the activation and management of corporate partnerships across the Idaho Steelheads, Idaho Central Arena, and Front Street Fights brands.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining and updating the partnership tracking system (Trak) with proof-of-performance documentation
• Organizing and labeling partner assets for activation recaps and reporting
• Supporting partnership contract fulfillment and gaining exposure to contract negotiation and financial tracking
Game Day Operations
As part of the live event production team, you’ll help execute all Idaho Steelheads home games, Front Street Fights (MMA events), and the LA Kings vs. Utah Mammoth preseason hockey game.
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with in-game promotions and live entertainment elements
• Ensuring seamless execution of pregame ceremonies and fan engagement activities
• Supporting overall game day logistics and troubleshooting as needed

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Eagerness to learn and take initiative
Requirements:
• Availability to work most home games (evenings and weekends required)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program related to sports management, communications, or a related field (preferred)
