 JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Greenville Swamp Rabbits seek a Game Day Operations Intern for the Fall/Spring of 2024-2025. This team member will work directly with and supervised by the Manager of Partnership Activations and Game Operations. During the internship, the intern will be afforded the opportunity to develop and apply skills in various areas including but game operations, theme night execution and game day scripting. This position will also receive the opportunity to shadow other departments in the office, such as promotions, sponsorship and sales. We are seeking an intern who has a passion and aspiration to be within the sports industry.  

·        Assist game day promotions and execution

·        Attend all home games 

·        Help plan and execute theme nights 

·        Learn and obtain Game scripting skills  

·        Additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership

·        Educational Requirements:  Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program. MUST be able to receive course credit.

·        Excellent communication skills 

·        Interest in sports industry 

·        High energy and demonstrated ability to work in fast paced multidisciplinary team environment.

·        A positive attitude and willingness to learn

·        Ability to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed 

·        Academic credit internship

·        Desire to gain knowledge of working within a professional sports organization
