Job Description: The Florida Everblades Hockey Club and Hertz Arena are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Digital Media Marketing Intern. The Intern will work closely with the Marketing department to create and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive ticket sales, and engage with our fans.
- Assist in the creation and execution of social media campaigns across all platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and other multimedia content.
- Monitor social media channels and respond to fan feedback and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns to increase ticket sales and engage with fans.
- Assist with website updates and maintenance to ensure website content is current and relevant.
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and insights that can be used to optimize marketing campaigns.
- Other duties assigned by marketing department personnel.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, preferably for college credit.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a great attention to detail.
- Creative and able to think outside the box to create engaging content.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other digital marketing tools.
- Ability to intern on event nights and weekends.
- Passion for sports & entertainment marketing is a plus.
