Job Description: The Florida Everblades Hockey Club and Hertz Arena are currently seeking a Content Creator/Editor Intern who is passionate about sports, storytelling, and content creation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring journalist or media professional to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced sports environment. 
 
Responsibilities: 
●       Assist with the creation and editing of written, photographic, and video content for the Florida Everblades Hockey Club and Hertz Arena
●       Enhance and uphold the Everblades brand through creative measures, including, but not limited to, graphic design, videography, photography, and writing
●       Cover team practices, games, and events, including conducting interviews with players, coaches, and staff
●       Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to develop and execute content strategies/campaigns across multiple platforms, including the team's website, social media channels, email newsletters, and other digital channels
●       Attend team and community events to capture content for use in promotional materials and to connect with fans
●       Assist with lighting and audio for interviews/video content, including personnel interviews, podcasts, 
●       Maintain assets in an expansive content library, including organizing and archiving photos, videos, and other media assets
●       Assist in creation of new long-form content produced for social platforms
●       Other duties assigned by marketing department personnel

Qualifications: 
●       Currently pursuing a degree in graphic design, AV production, journalism, communications, or a related field, preferably for college credit. 
●       Demonstrated experience in writing, photography, and/or video production
●       Familiarity with the Adobe Suite or similar software
●       Familiarity with using a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera
●       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
●       Excellent written and verbal communication skills
●       Desire to be on-camera talent is preferred, but not required
●       Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
●       Passion for sports, with a particular interest in hockey
