Job Description: The Florida Everblades Hockey Club and Hertz Arena are currently seeking a Community Relations Intern to join our team. As a Community Relations Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the marketing department in promoting the team and arena within the local community. This is a great opportunity for someone enthusiastic, organized, and eager to gain experience in the sports industry. 

  • Assist with planning and executing community events and appearances. 
  • Collaborate with local schools, non-profit organizations, and businesses to organize community outreach initiatives. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners. 
  • Assist with the coordination of in-game promotions and activities. 
  • Create and distribute promotional materials to increase awareness of team and arena events.
  • Assist with social media content creation and scheduling. 
  • Other duties as assigned by marketing department personnel. 

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated students with a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, preferably for college credit. 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms. 
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. 
  • Must have reliable transportation.
