The ECHL, a development league committed to a growth mindset, is seeking a highly motivated candidate who is the ultimate team player for a role working with teams throughout North America! This role is responsible for assisting in the administration of League reporting, supporting information sharing across departments, coordinating league-wide communications, and planning and executing annual League events such as the All-Star game and ECHL Hockey Summer Meetings. This full-time position reports directly to the Director of Team Services & Marketing and is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities:
●Assist the Director of Team Services & Marketing with the administration, organization, and compilation of League reporting across various revenue channels
●Support the creation, distribution, and collection of League information, including surveys, program updates, vendor review and resource sharing
●Facilitate monthly newsletter, including overseeing Team submissions, layout and content development, and ongoing improvement strategies in collaboration with the Director of Team Services & Marketing
●Monitor Team social channels, websites, and promotional calendars to identify best practices, theme nights, and creative initiatives
●Support the creation and distribution of League-wide proposals and presentations for internal and external communication
●Tell the ECHL story by maintaining a consistent posting cadence on the League’s LinkedIn page, highlighting Team achievements, League milestones, and special events
●Collaborate with internal departments to gather compelling content that showcases the League’s growth, community impact, and business accomplishments
●Assist with the maintenance and execution of the ECHL Shop
●Work with League personnel and ECHL Teams to coordinate League marketing programs, including issuing and coordinating weekly/monthly Player Awards each Season
●Coordinate event planning in conjunction with Director of Team Services & Marketing for all League events
●Act as liaison and League representative for League events and daily administration, including invitations, scheduling, and travel
●Other administrative/marketing duties as directed
Qualifications:
●Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
●Previous career or internship experience in sports business operations, team services, events, or related areas
●Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
●Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
●Familiarity with Microsoft Suite
●Knowledge of professional sports team operations is preferred, specifically in the sales cycle and process
