Description: 
The Bloomington Bison are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated college student for our Broadcast and Media Relations Internship program. The duration of the internship for the 2025-26 season runs from October until April. 

Please note: Interns are paid $50 for game day shifts, though office hours are required and are unpaid but available for college credit. This is not a remote opportunity, must be local to the Bloomington area during the season.
 
Responsibilities:
·      Assist in producing and updating statistics, notes and player biographies in media kits
·      Assist in pre-game preparation (media room, game notes, credentials, press box set-up)
·      Facilitate needs of media during game (distribution of line-ups, box scores and other assistance upon request)
·      On-air opportunities for intermission reports/interviews/league content
·      Assist in coordinating, filming, and conducting post-game interviews for Bison Social Media Outlets 
·      Assist with writing and distribution of game day press releases
·      Assist in editing and publishing post-game highlights
·      Video archiving after each home game
·      Photo archiving after each home game
 
Skills and requirements:
·      Able to receive college credit for your internship
·      Must be able to work all home games 
·      Ability to work nontraditional hours, including nights and weekends 
·      Strong written and verbal communication skills
·      Extensive knowledge of the rules of ice hockey and statistical information
·      Proficiency with Adobe Audition (Adobe Premiere and Adobe InDesign experience a benefit)
