Job overview:
The Allen Americans are currently seeking a Videography Intern for the 2026-2027 season. This will be a hands-on experience, providing interns the chance to gain relevant expertise in the field.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience in videography, video production, or digital media
- A portfolio demonstrating creative video work and editing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Understanding of camera operation, composition, lighting, audio, and video editing
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and short-form video trends
- Excellent attention to detail and creative storytelling abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate as part of a team
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Video Production, Digital Media, Communications, Film, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Must LIVE LOCAL to Allen, Texas
- Work ALL Allen Americans home games during the 2026-27 season
- Strong knowledge of Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite including an understanding of After Effects
- Strong hockey knowledge and interest are highly recommended and encouraged
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality creative standards
- Must be able to provide own equipment
Compensation
This is a non-paid internship. School credit may be earned if applicable.
