The Ticket Sales Intern is responsible for generating revenue through Season Tickets, Half-Seasons, and Groups on a commission only basis. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for sales, looking to further their career, and wanting to assist wherever they can. This position reports directly to the Sales Department and will receive top-notch sales training.
About the Organization:
The Allen AMERICANS Professional Hockey Club is a member of the ECHL, the world’s top Double-A hockey league, and is the affiliate of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Ottawa Senators.
Reports To: Senior Director, New Business
In person only**
Responsibilities:
- Prospect leads and clients for sales opportunities.
- Assist in the box office on game days
- Help sell Full Season, Half Season, and Group Tickets for Americans games.
- Represent the Allen Americans by attending festivals, parades and other community events that are coordinated by the team, which sometimes take place on the weekend.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication.
- All other duties assigned.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Education Requirements:
- Currently enrolled or recent graduate of a collegiate sports management or business program.
- Ability to come into the Americans Front Office
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- A dedicated individual with a passion for ticket sales.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to personal integrity and teamwork.
- Proficiency with the Google G-Suite family of office technology.
