Job Summary: This position will primarily function as facility and operations lead for day-to-day preparations for various events held at the StarCenter Multisport facilities. This person will serve as the main point of contact for all building systems helping to identify repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the buildings run as efficiently as possible. This position is not eligible for remote work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Oversee and prepare courts for volleyball and basketball for practices, games, and tournaments as needed, including score table/scoreboard setup, charging remote controller boxes (RCBs), storage of RCBs when not in use, ball prep/distribution, bleacher setup, and officials rest areas
  • Ensure overall cleanliness and sanitation the buildings meet company standards by working closely with third-party contractors
  •  Thorough knowledge of all operating systems including basketball goals, divider curtains, scheduling software, etc.
  • Ensure all basketball and volleyball equipment and hardware are kept in good working order and that backup contingencies are in place
  • Open and close the facilities as needed
  • Complete daily checklists and communicate with facility staff regarding maintenance needs and building repairs

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  •  Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly manner
  • Excellent knowledge of Multisport building operations
  •  General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be able to regularly work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended and/or irregular hours

Physical Demands and Working Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle objects and office tools, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is exposed to arena and office environments, with noise levels that range from moderate to quite loud.
