Location: In-Office, 401. E. State Street, Rockford, IL 61104
Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm / Monday – Friday with seasonal variation based on game schedule
Status: Full Time, Exempt
Compensation: The annual budgeted salary for this position is $45,000-$50,000. Offers are made within this range and are based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.

Role Summary:

The Rockford IceHogs Coordinator, Ticket Operations is a position based in Rockford, Illinois, that operates within the Rockford IceHogs Business Development Department and collaborates closely with the Chicago Blackhawks and United Center Ticket Operations teams. The Coordinator will collaborate and support all team members within the IceHogs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement all aspects of ticket operations for the Rockford IceHogs including but not limited to
  • Build and maintain seasons, events, and price codes in the ticket system.

  • Build and administer season ticket auto-renewal process and payment plans.

  • Build and administer customized group sales systems and processes.

  • Manage and fulfill employee, arena, hockey ops, corporate partner and other complimentary ticket requests.

  • Manage and fulfill, in conjunction with Community Relations, Ticket Donation requests

  • Evaluate available seating inventory

  • On each game day/night, provide IceHogs assistance in the BMO Center Box Office to support the IceHogs and Legends Global arena management teams in providing solutions to customer needs and questions

  • Prepare all post-event reports and coordinate game settlements with BMO Center Box Office.

  • Serve as primary point of contact with:

  • Blackhawks ticket operations

  • Ticketmaster

  • FEVO

  • BMO Center box office staff

  • 3rd party parking company

  • Collaborate with business development, sales, membership services, partnerships other IceHogs departments, and Legends Global to ensure all ticket related needs are met
  • Provide input for long-term projects and anticipate changes to ticketing processes

  • Participate in Blackhawks ticket operations regularly scheduled meetings

  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 2-3 years’ working in sports and entertainment industry, in a ticket operations or box office role

  • Previous experience with CRM & ticketing/inventory management software – extensive knowledge with Ticketmaster Archtics, Account Manager and Host, or similar Ticketing System preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, and other computer skills required

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations/Information

  • Must have a strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to engage and interact with current and prospective clients and fans

  • Ability to engage with our vendor service teams including Ticketmaster, FEVO, and others

  • Comfort and experience interfacing with various levels of staff and management, while working in a fast-paced environment
