Job Responsibilities:
- Generates and distributes content related to upcoming Arena Club, Catering, and Arena wide events such as menus, updates, offerings, and pricing.
- Collaborates with Manager regarding all restaurant, private, and special event spaces and demonstrates planning and coordinating skills. Publishes room setups, diagrams, and layouts.
- Coordinates with Manager on both internal and external events and communicates with various departments, staff, upper management, and culinary regarding catered events details.
- Develops and communicates accurate event diagrams based on Catering BEO’s and works diligently to help create a plan with Manager and disseminate the information to the proper departments.
- Produces and communicates accurate weekly Operations Notes for catered events on Lenovo Center intranet while anticipating upcoming future events and helping forecast certain event needs and setups.
- Maintains current and accurate customer files.
- Assists with daily part-time staff payroll and time processing.
- Executes daytime events and embraces the ability to coordinate and lead part-time, temporary, and volunteer staff with tasks, setup, breakdown, and execution of events.
- Provides overall administrative support for the Catering and Restaurant while demonstrating a professional demeanor and helping execute any other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Research concerts, special events, and conventions as designated by upper management and VP to include sales forecasting, attendance, popularity of event, VIP information, and other venues best practices.
Qualifications - Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant, bar, country club, private events, convention center, banquet, or sports arena/stadium setting preferred.
- Must demonstrate technical proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, and Word. Previous administrative experience, Caterease Software, and Bypass POS or similar POS system knowledge preferred.

- Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in stressful situations.

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including events that occur during daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Must pass criminal background check.
This is a non-exempt hourly position.
