Assist in the Catering food operation of the Lenovo Center. Responsible for properly executing recipes, daily organization and preparation of BEOs for the Lenovo Center, as well as leadership in a manner consistent with corporate policies.
Daily Duties include but not limited to:
- Prepare all foods according to recipe sheets and BEO’s
- Maintain work area, coolers and dry storage in a clean and orderly fashion
- Adhere to and maintain local health department standards
- Complete assigned projects within allocated time
- Assist Sous Chefs in all assigned food costs goals
- Assist Sous Chefs in all labor costs goals
- Taste and evaluate food products before service
- Keep a clean and presentable appearance at all times
Experience and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience cooking in a high volume banquet facility, hotel, or restaurant is preferred.
- Experience maintaining inventories and company recipes is required.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Strong Microsoft Office experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as Arena schedule dictates. This may include 60 or more hours per week and shifts longer than 10 hours.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must pass a criminal background check
