Summary
The Buffalo Sabres are hiring a Part-time Videographer/Editor to work with their video team. Duties may include, but are not limited to, shooting Sabres and Bandits team events, arena events, as well as video editing of various content pieces.
This individual will have a strong technical knowledge of video production equipment and practices, and a firm understanding of video editing processes and techniques. The ability to work effectively in fast-paced situations and under tight deadlines is a must.
This is a seasonal, part-time position. Hours will be on an as-needed basis and as a result, there will not be a consistent schedule. The schedule will fluctuate based on the Sabres practice and game calendars, and other factors. The position requires day, night, and weekend availability throughout the season.
You must have your own video editing laptop or workstation running Adobe Creative Suite, and that equipment should be able to handle the most current version of Adobe Premiere Pro.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide shooting and editing support during games, practices, press conferences, and media availabilities.
- Shoot video at off-site events when assigned.
- Properly organize and archive video footage based on current Sabres video team standards.
- Utilize Premiere Pro and other Adobe Creative applications to edit assigned projects.
- Assist the video team staff where applicable.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in video production.
- Advanced experience shooting with professional video cameras (knowledge of Sony cinema cameras and lenses is a plus).
- Familiarity with professional audio and lighting equipment is preferred.
- Strong video editing experience in Adobe Premiere Pro is required.
- Experience shooting live action sporting events.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Personal video editing laptop or workstation & Adobe Creative Suite software

Compensation
This role pays an hourly rate of $35.00
