Membership Sales Intern
Summary
This position will work with the Buffalo Sabres ticketing department and will be responsible for selling season tickets, group tickets and single game tickets over the telephone., via email and face-to-face appointments for the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Actively research and prospect new sales leads
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly call and sales goals
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospective and current members
- Utilize ticketing systems (Archtics, CRM Dynamics, and Tableau) for reports and account updates
- Assist in planning, organizing and executing Season Ticket Member events
- Maintain a high level of accuracy with all departmental policies and procedures
- Assist with other ticket department activities and projects as required
- Maintains a high level of confidentially and professionalism
- Other duties as requested or assigned
Minimum Qualifications for the Position:
- Candidate must be at least 18 years of age
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Business Management, Sport Management or a similar field
- Prior sales experience preferred but not required
- Experience working for an athletic department, sports team or major event is preferred but not required
- Available to work evening, weekend, holiday hours as needed

Compensation & Hours
This role pays $16.00 an hour. This is a part time role and must have the flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays. This is a temporary position anticipated to run from May 11 to August 21.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This internship operates in both an office setting and in a live events setting. Live event coverage does consist of being around loud stadium noises and crowds.
Candidate must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving boxes up to 20 pounds.
