The opportunity

Delaware North Boston Holdings is hiring a part-time Marketing and Communications Event Ambassador to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

The role involves providing on-site marketing and communications support for all TD Garden events, including escorting media, assisting with artist welcome activations, capturing and publishing event content, and engaging with social media followers. Ideal candidates must be professional, organized, and experienced in marketing and communications, with a flexible schedule to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

 

Pay $15.00 - $15.00 / hour

What will you do?
  • Serve as on-site TD Garden media/press representative to escort approved media to and from designated positions (varies by event)
  • Provide support to the operations manager on duty for back-of-house/artist welcome activations (i.e., proper signage installed, artist welcome gifts arranged)
  • Capture content (video and photos) at the event to be used for marketing and communications purposes
  • Publish content to TD Garden social platforms in real time, with approval from Marcomms staff
  • Monitor inbound conversation and leverage engagement opportunities as previously determined by parameters set forth by the TD Garden marcomms team
  • Share any conversation with the guest ambassador team at TD Garden to manage on-site execution of in-person engagement/follow-up
  • Respond / reply / engage with our social fans and followers during events
  • Assist the TD Garden / Boston Bruins digital team with the collection of photos/content to be used for the promotion of games and/or events before, during, or after such events

More about you
  • Demonstrate high professionalism: organized, reliable, honest, strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, and social engagement is required
  • Flexible schedule to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in handling cameras and other equipment for capturing content.

Physical requirements
  • Ability to move around the arena, including escorting media and navigating various event locations
  • Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to lift stock to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Exposure to moderate to high environmental noise levels during busy times
