The opportunity

The Boston Bruins are searching for a Season Ticket Account Executive to join the ticket sales team in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Season Ticket Account Executive, you will promote and market Boston Bruins' Season Ticket and Group Sales products to prospective clients to maximize sales and profitability. Core responsibilities will be driving revenue by selling season ticket packages, group tickets, game plans, single premium products, and Legends Club memberships.

 

The ideal candidate for this role would be detail-oriented, leads by example, capable of identifying and resolving problems, sales-driven with strong communication, and relationship-minded interacting with internal clients and external fans.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $43,888 - $51,100 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
  • Promote and market Boston Bruins' Season Ticket, Group Sales, and Mini Plan products to prospective clients to attain sales goals, maximize sales revenue and maximize profitability
  • Manage a client base of Boston Bruins Game Plan Holders and Group Buyers, along with TD Garden Suite Renters
  • Resolve customer service and ticketing issues from Boston Bruins clients, TD Garden patrons, and general fans
  • Promote and market group tickets for select TD Garden Family Shows and special events
  • Oversee and optimize the relationship and guest experience of Boston Bruins Game Plan Holders, optimizing retention while maximizing sales and profitability
  • Collaborate with Boston Bruins Box Office on all ticket-related issues to optimize client experience
  • Engage with Bruins clients on-site at all games to maximize fan experience
  • Oversee and execute all event logistics with Boston Bruins Youth Hockey and Fan Experience packages
  • Assist with managing sales processes and strategies for TD Garden by developing new ideas and creating new and innovative ways of selling Season Tickets, Group Tickets, and Mini Plan products
  • Generate leads for prospective new clients by conducting research to maximize sales calls, sales revenue and profitability 
  • Attend and host various TD Garden & Boston Bruins events to optimize the client experience and maximize sales and profitability
  • Collaborate with various DNC-Boston departments to ensure ticket sales works in concert with all other areas
  • Develop and maintain client lists, contact information, sales goals, sales figures, and all other data consistent with optimizing strategic goals and initiatives
  • Develop and execute training and mentoring with newly hired sales executives to facilitate productivity and maximize sales and revenues

More about you
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience-Sales or Marketing Preferred
  • 2-3 years of applicable experience
  • Successful track record in sales and client retention
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster Archtics, Account Manager, & Salesforce preferred
  • Familiarity using Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
