The Signature Events Production Team Member is a part-time seasonal position within the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club (ADHC). The primary responsibility is to assist in executing the integrated events & programming of the club. This position reports directly to the Manager, Signature Events & Projects and supports elevating the brand’s activations and exposure.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation and strike of various events, including but not limited to Anaheim Ducks home games, signature events, and ancillary events
  • Load equipment and branding assets into Ducks vehicles and trucks, following proper securing and safety procedures
  • Unload trucks and transport equipment to designated setup locations in accordance with setup instructions
  • Accurately follow maps, layouts, and setup guides with strong attention to detail
  • Assemble and install equipment, including trussing, staging, lighting, audio systems, and décor
  • Run, coil, and tape power and control cables as needed
  • Install event signage with precision and care
  • Test equipment to ensure full functionality prior to the event start
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment during events
  • Strike and pack equipment after event completion; load trucks and return all assets to the Anaheim Ducks warehouse
  • Clean, organize, and perform basic maintenance on event equipment and assets
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to maintain an organized warehouse layout, ensuring all assets are easily identifiable, accessible, and properly stored
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in event setup, production, or operations preferred
  • Experience with customer service or client-facing roles, particularly in hospitality or sports/entertainment events, is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with truck and large vehicle operation—including loading, unloading, and transporting equipment—is a plus
  • Familiarity with power tools (e.g., drills, saws), wood construction, truss assembly/striking, and general production setup is a plus
  • Experience with audio equipment (e.g., PA systems, microphones, speaker stands) is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is also a plus
  • Strong understanding of event safety procedures and adherence to safety requirements
  • General knowledge of warehouse organization and event logistics
  • Understanding of the importance of detail throughout all phases of event execution (setup, live production, and strike)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong time management and task prioritization abilities
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-energy environments
  • Service-oriented mindset with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and guests
  • Technically skilled in basic production, setup, and use of event materials and tools
  • Must be able to safely operate a company promotional vehicle to deliver and pick up marketing materials and equipment from event sites, including traveling as needed for off-site events
  • Must be self-motivated and team-oriented, with leadership traits and a proactive work ethic
  • Willing and able to work outdoors and adapt to a variety of public or environmental conditions
  • Awareness of surroundings and ability to maintain professionalism in dynamic or high-pressure environments
  • Able to work independently and effectively without direct supervision
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines with a strong sense of urgency
  • Able to lift, push, pull, or otherwise move and position up to 75 pounds regularly
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts
  • Must be accessible on short notice and arrive at event locations on time
  • Must have a valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record; ability to be insured under the company’s policy is required
