Student Conduct Coordinator
Position Overview
The Senior Student Success Coordinator plays a central role in fostering the academic, social,
and personal success of student-athletes at SPIRE Academy. This position provides leadership
to Student Success Associates, oversees dorm communities, and drives initiatives that support
student well-being, accountability, and growth in a high-performance boarding school
environment.
Academic Year 2025–2026
Pay: $48,000-$52,000 annually, based on experience

Residential Life & Community Development
● Oversee dorm communities and create a safe, structured, and inclusive living
environment.
● Coordinate student housing, check-in/check-out, leave requests, and dorm inspections.
● Partner with operations staff to maintain high-quality living standards in dorms.
● Collaborate with Academy staff on dorm assignments, inspections, and residential
standards.
● Update residential life materials, including handbooks, portals, and parent
communications.

Student Support & Advocacy

● Serve as a mentor and advocate for student-athletes, maintaining open communication
with students and families.
● Support students in areas such as academic success, personal development, wellness,
and cultural adjustment.
● Collaborate with faculty, coaches, and support staff to monitor student progress and
address concerns.
● Respond to and resolve student conflicts or disciplinary issues in an educational and
restorative manner.
● Support students by attending practices, classes, and events.
● Assist with orientations, parent events, and campus programming.
● Address issues of intolerance or conflict in an educational and supportive manner.

Academic Integration

● Help track attendance, classroom engagement, and assignment completion for
residential students.
● Coordinate evening study hall and academic support within the dorm setting.

● Promote positive study habits and accountability for traveling/competing
student-athletes.
● Work with academic leadership to align schedules, policies, and support systems with
training and competition demands.

Administration

● Maintain accurate student records, reports, communication logs,Veracross
documentation, and communication with families and administrators.
● Maintain housing systems, student leave approvals, and communication platforms.
● Complete reports, incident documentation, and weekly updates.
● Collaborate with leadership, legal, and compliance teams to uphold policies and
mandates.
● Manage student discipline, permissions, and accountability systems.
● Lead conflict resolution and serve as primary contact for sensitive student issues.
● Participate in rotational on-call duties.
● Attend assigned staff meetings and respond to student/staff concerns as needed.
Reporting Structure
● Reports to: Director of Academy
● Co-supervisory: Student Success Associates
Works under direct guidance from: Director of Academy
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree preferred; background in counseling, student affairs, or related field.
● 3–5 years of experience in residential life, student services, or student-athlete support, or
other social support roles.
● Strong communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
● Experience supporting international students or diverse student populations is preferred.
● Commitment to student success in a high-performance, global sports academy
environment.
● Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
● Ability to obtain:
○ Student Transportation Permit
○ Student Activity Permit (ODE – Ohio Department of Education)
