About this role: 

  • The Product Manager, GHIN will be responsible for the management of the USGA’s most popular digital products, which are used by millions of golfers around the world and the primary source of score posting in the U.S. This person will be responsible for day-to-day product management responsibilities focused on improving the quality and performance of the GHIN golfer products, with a focus on user journeys, accessibility, defects, and other user-centric features. The role will also include the direct management of customer feedback and support, reporting, app ratings & reviews, FAQs, and overall interactions with golfers. 

What you'll do:

  • Support the Director of Product, GHIN with product management of the USGA/GHIN Golfer Products (GHIN mobile apps,ghin.com, kiosk) 
  • Manage the prioritization of customer-centric features related to improving quality of service and the overall golfer experience
  • Work closely with project management and engineering teams to prioritize defects and quality-focused features in the software development lifecycle 
  • Assist in quality assurance testing of resolved defects and new features  
  • Provide reports and analysis of traffic and usage of products for internal stakeholders to help inform decision-making 
  • Communicate directly with golfers, receiving issues and feedback and translating them into development tasks that ultimately improve the products 
  • Partner with GHIN Operations & Support team on defects and issues raised by golfers and association administrators 
  • Create tools, resources, and FAQs for GHIN features  
  • Lead alpha and beta testing as needed, internally and externally, for golfer products 

Where you'll be: 

  • This role will be based at our Liberty Corner, NJ campus on a hybrid schedule. Employees are expected to spend 3 days per week working in the office, between Monday - Thursday.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, related field, or equivalent professional experience 
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, product development, marketing, or customer support
  • Experience working directly with customers or users of digital products is a big plus
  • Proven track record of delivering technical and digital solutions 
  • Strong project and program management skillset 
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle in an agile development environment 
  • Experience with reporting, organization, and prioritization of product features and defects 
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills 
  • Ability to own multiple projects, displaying strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
  • Knowledge of support platforms like Zendesk and/or app store ratings & reviews management is a plus 
  • Knowledge of the game of golf and the mobile golf ecosystem is advantageous
