From the USGA Handicap System, to conducting what are regarded as golf’s most prestigious championships, to modernizing the delivery of the game’s Rules, and supporting sustainable golf course management practices, the United States Golf Association promotes the health of a game that inspires, challenges, and rewards like nothing else can.

Are you looking to join an energetic team that works together to grow the game through product development and customer support?

As an intern with the GHIN department, you will be supporting our customers and golfers with their questions and requests. This person will work closely with the GHIN team to improve quality and performance of the GHIN products. The role will also help provide key statistics and analytics to both internal/external stakeholders to help inform decision making.

What you'll do:

  • Assist the GHIN team in delivering exemplary service and value to customers & golfers
  • Support the Manager of Operations & Support, GHIN with operational communications both internally and externally
  • Work closely with the GHIN team on Change Management tasks including training, documentation, and educational materials
  • Assist in quality assurance testing of resolved defects and new features
  • Maintain and deepen customer relationships with domestic and international golf associations
  • Communicate directly with golfers, receiving issues and feedback and translating them into development tasks that ultimately improve the products
  • Report on defects and issues raised by golfers and association administrators
  • Create tools, resources, and FAQs for GHIN features

Where you'll be: 

  • This role will be based at our Liberty Corner, NJ campus on a hybrid schedule. Employees are expected to spend 3 days per week working in the office, between Monday - Thursday.

What you bring:

  • Rising college Junior or Senior preferred
  • Strong organizational, planning, communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Ability to take initiative and operate toward a goal without daily supervision
  • Collaborative energy and spirit
  • Proficiency in creating presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to be involved in multiple projects, displaying strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the game of golf and the mobile golf ecosystem is advantageous
  • Knowledge of support platforms like Zendesk and/or app store ratings & reviews management a plus
  • Creative thinker and problem-solver
  • Interest in golf / sports preferred
