RESTAURANT SERVER
Pay: $7.25 per hour + tips
Sand Hollow Resort is a premier destination to Escape. Play. Discover. Relax. One of Southern Utah’s top-ranked golf destinations, our golf course is ranked in the top 50 out of the 100 top resort golf courses. The resort encompasses over 180 units ranging from one (1) to six (6) bedrooms for guests to relax in during their stay. Dine in our picturesque restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the gorgeous Southern Utah mountain ranges, ending your evening with a concert underneath the stars in our gorgeous Rock Bowl.

The Restaurant Server is responsible for the restaurant's first impression. To be successful in this role, you must have a positive, friendly attitude and the ability to work well under pressure. Servers also ensure a good customer experience by helping with the timely delivery of food and beverages and checking on their customers while seated in the restaurant.
Restaurant Server Responsibilities
- Make guests feel welcome and accommodated
- Inform guests of current promotions, make menu recommendations, take orders, and input them into the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Tend to special guest needs and requests
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies
- Run food and drink orders for their tables and assist other servers as needed
- Observe drinks and refill
- ID guests wanting an alcoholic beverage
- Keep track of credit card receipts and cash payments
- Keep sections clean and clear of debris
- Bus and reset tables so waiting parties can be seated
- Restock server stations with napkins, cutlery, condiments, and small plates
Restaurant Server Requirements:
- Positive, upbeat attitude and ability to work well under pressure
- Food handlers permit
- Able to perform high-quality work with little supervision
- Must be able to walk and stand during the entire shift
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have availability to work weekends and holidays
