JOB DESCRIPTION -Resort Maintenance Technician:

The resort encompasses over 180 units ranging from one (1) to six (6) bedrooms for guests to relax in during their stay. Dine in our picturesque restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the gorgeous Southern Utah mountain ranges, ending your evening with a concert underneath the stars in our gorgeous Rock Bowl.

The Resort Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of equipment and resort facilities, including vacation rental units. This position plays a key role in delivering a positive guest experience by maintaining a high standard of resort upkeep. The selected candidate for this position will work Wednesday through Sunday, 8am-4pm.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and landscaping
- Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities, equipment, and systems to identify issues and prevent breakdowns
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections
- Assist in pool and spa maintenance, including water quality checks and equipment upkeep
- Ensure all resort buildings and common areas are kept clean, safe, and in good repair
- Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, and management to address facility-related concerns
- Follow all safety protocols and resort policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus
- 2+ years of general maintenance experience preferred, especially in hospitality or resort environments
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
- Valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Wednesday through Sunday, 8am – 4pm
Salary: $16/hr - $18/hr
