The Social Media Intern will play a key role in supporting the Social Media Team. They will be directly responsible for managing tagging of all social content in Brandwatch, which is used for reports and tracking analytics. They will help clip match highlights in WSC and prepare recurring graphics, such as YouTube match highlight thumbnails, using Photoshop templates.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Directly responsible for managing tagging within Brandwatch
· Assist with highlight clipping in WSC
· Support the Social Media Team by preparing graphics in advance using Photoshop templates
· Help with photography distribution to players on Socialie
· Participate in weekly meetings and ideation sessions
· Assist with uploading occasional match highlights to YouTube
· Help update and maintain the social content calendar in Monday.com
· Collaborate with the Social Media Team to execute social media strategies
· Special projects, as required
· Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
· The candidate must be recently graduated or currently enrolled in college/university
· Studies and/or experience in the area of Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media and/or Marketing
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Proficient in Adobe Photoshop (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred but not required)
· Passion for social media and knowledge of digital media formats across social platforms
· Publishing proficiency across major social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and TikTok
· Excellent organizational skills, proactive, and detail-oriented
· Tennis knowledge preferred, not required
· Strong copywriting, grammar, and copy editing skills

Position Type/Work Schedule:
Seasonal employee. 6-month internship, 40 hours a week. Typical schedule will be Monday-Friday. May include weekends and non-typical shift start times (not to exceed 8 hours) during certain periods in the WTA season.
