Summary
A Copywriter with a passion for crafting engaging copy and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of brand voice and marketing principles, along with demonstrated experience in creating effective content across various platforms. The Copywriter will have a creative, collaborative, and ready to contribute to promoting women's sports on a global scale.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling copy for marketing materials, including press releases, promotional campaigns, social media content, website copy, & email campaigns.
  • Brand Voice: Maintain and enhance the WTA brand voice across all marketing. communications.
  • Campaign Development: Contribute to integrated marketing campaigns to promote WTA events and initiatives.
  • Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and conduct research to enhance content strategy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive communication approach.

Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field required.
  • Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in sports or entertainment industries required.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns required.

Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management & organizational skills with ability to handle multiple demands and priorities.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships and provide constructive critique of creative work that elevates the quality of the written creative output across the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
  • Tennis knowledge desirable.

Position Type/Work Schedule:
Full Time, 40 hours a week. Typical schedule will be Monday-Friday with some off hours and weekends dependent on tournament schedules and projects demand.

Working Conditions
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.

Physical Demands
The employee is required to sit for long periods; use close/distant vision; hear using the telephone; bend at the waist and knee; communicate verbally and electronically with worldwide constituency; use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
