US Open Operations
- Planning, Oversight and Management of Safety and Security:
- Comprehensive US Open Safety and Security Plan
- Safety and Security Policies and Procedures Documentation
- Liaison with all city, state and federal agencies
- Contracted Security Provider
- Command Center Operations
- Business Continuity Plan
- Credential Operations
- Fire & Life Safety Program
- Medical Services for Spectator and Staff
- Evacuation Procedures
- On-Court/Player & VIP Escort Security Program
USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (Flushing, NY) Year Round Operations
- Planning, Oversight and Management of Safety and Security:
- Safety and Security Policies and Procedures Documentation
- Fire Command Station Operation
- Evacuation Program and Training for NTC staff
- AED/CPR Program
- Business Continuity Plan
- Incident Management Program
- Support all Non-US Open NTC year round Events
NATIONAL CAMPUS (Orlando, FL) & all other USTA Offices
- Planning and Oversight of Campus staff Safety and Security Programs:
- Safety and Security Policies and Procedures Documentation
- Fire and Life Safety
- Visitor Access Program
- National Campus Events (NCAA Championships, etc)
- Evacuation Program and Training for NTC staff
- AED/CPR Program
- Business Continuity Plan
- Incident Management Program (To include, Lost & Found Program)
USTA
- Planning and Oversight of Safety and Security Programs:
- Safety and Security Policies and Procedures Documentation
- International Travel Security Program
- Billie Jean King Cup and Davis Security Program, both Stateside and Overseas
- Coordination with federal agencies for any overseas travel (U.S. Department of State)
- Business Continuity Plan
- Collaborate with Legal on security-related issues
Qualifications
- Must be a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong understanding of the security-related business needs of a sports organization.
- Experience with various types of technology platforms used in intelligence and operations centers.
- Demonstrated experience working in collaboration with domestic and international intelligence and information-sharing components in areas of public safety, counterterrorism, and critical infrastructure protection.
- 10+ years of management experience in law enforcement, event, building or venue security a plus.
- Knowledge of crowd management techniques
- Demonstrated the ability to influence decision-making through an active partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to direct, coach, inform and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Facilities Management, Police Academy or related field.
- Must be willing to work in a "hybrid/flex" environment which will require both on-site and remote work as designated by USTA/NTC, and may be updated from time to time
Pay range in the United States:
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Salary Range: $161,797-195,000
