Event Management: Event Operations/Management
Paid Undergraduate internship positions assisting the USTA business unit identified below with project-driven tasks including Foundation, Video Services, Merchandising and Diversity and Inclusion.  The internship runs from June 19th through August 12th. You may select up to two depts. you have an interest in doing your internship.  Proof of Covid Vaccination required.
Video Services (White Plains with ability to travel to NTC as needed)
Intern will assist with all aspects of Video production for the largest Tennis organization in the world, including, but not limited to:  pre-production research; logging and tagging of metadata within video library systems; video, audio and lighting gear preparation; Assisting on video shoots in all capacities; assisting on  post production edits; and light, unsupervised editing. General to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects required; General to advanced knowledge of various video camera, audio, lighting and editing software preferred;  Strong love and background for sports and tennis preferred.
Merchandising
Intern will assist with internal merchandise requests and delivery leading up to the US Open, assist in operation of the USO staff uniform program, conduct physical inventory counts of merchandise and organize/maintain inventory in storage space. This position will require moving of boxes and some physical exertion. Candidate should have strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word.
USTA Foundation 
In preparation for the Foundations US Open events, assist with various event logistics including, but not limited to: event awareness, outreach to local media, large mailings, guest incentives, vendor tracking, promotional packets, gift bags, and more. As part of donor relations, assist in the process of researching current and prospective donors, creating donor/prospective donor profiles, and entering data and creating plans for donor outreach. Candidate should be proficient in Google suite products, be a creative thinker, passionate about working with under-resourced youth and communities, technologically savvy, and detail oriented. Have excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Highest standard of confidentiality and discretion.

Qualifications
Matriculated Undergraduate student entering Junior or Senior year 2022 and/or graduating no earlier than December 2022 from an accredited college or university
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management as well as employees.
Ability to work independently as well as in a group
Organized and detailed oriented
High energy level and strong work ethic
Dynamic and positive “can do” attitude’
Competency with MS Word, Google suites; social media a plus
Bilingual skills also welcomed

Monday through Thursday 9am - 5pm, no work Friday
Hybrid internship with 2-3 days in the office each week. 
Candidates must have access to Wi-Fi during work hours and be able to connect to video conferencing when working from home
Housing will not be provided
