The Data Warehouse Architect, reporting to the Director of Data & Analytics, will play a key role in enhancing the USTA’s data and analytics capabilities that support the organization's mission of promoting and growing the game of tennis. The Data Warehouse Architect will lead the design of the overarching data warehouse architecture that supports all business intelligence and analytics products, marketing communications, and other business support systems. S/he will have responsibility and accountability for overall data architecture, data modeling, data quality, data definitions and documentation of the Enterprise Data Lake and all downstream systems, including Tableau data sources, marketing automation, etc. The Data Warehouse Architect will work collaboratively with Product and Application Development partners, data analysts, business analysts and data engineers to identify and refine requirements for new or enhanced data integrations, create or update source to target mappings and work with Data Engineering team to implement solutions ensuring scalability, extensibility, accuracy, timeliness and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain data models, maximizing extensibility
- Perform analysis, data profiles and data audits
- Define ETL/ELT logic
- Create and maintain documentation including source to target mappings, enterprise data dictionary, and data flows including data lineage
- Work with data engineering team to define and develop efficient, extensible, scalable, timely and accurate ETL/ELT processes
- Understand how enterprise data relates to current digital products, business operations, analytics and reporting, and the effects that any future changes will have on data throughout the organization
- Define and implement rules for data quality validation and correction
- Develop and adhere to standards for data models, data governance, data transformations, data cleansing and database table and field names, data types, field lengths, referential integrity, etc.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of business experience
- 5+ years of experience in data warehouse architecture
- 5+ years of experience in conceptual/logical/physical data modeling
- Understanding of modern BI/Data Warehouse methodologies to support rapid, agile development and increased speed to delivery of new data sources and related reporting/analytical products
- Experience working with structured and semi-structured data
- Experience with S3, Redshift, SQL Server, Tableau required
- Hands on experience with data lake architecture
- Hands on experience working with AWS services and infrastructure
- Experience with PII standards and security requirements
- Experience working in matrixed organization; strong team player
- College degree in related field
