The Role
The Ticket Office Volunteer plays a critical, front-line role in delivering an exceptional fan experience at the Cincinnati Open. Volunteers support ticket sales, guest services, and on-site operations by assisting patrons with ticketing needs, answering questions, and ensuring efficient service at high-traffic touchpoints throughout the venue.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and take pride in providing outstanding customer service during a world-class sporting event.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Comfortable interacting with large crowds in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ticketing systems
- High attention to detail, particularly when handling transactions and ticket distribution
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal
- Interest in sports, live events, or guest experience is a plus
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be available to work assigned shifts during the Cincinnati Open
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in outdoor conditions
- Attendance at a mandatory training session prior to the tournament is required
Shift Expectations:
- Average shift length: approximately 6–8 hours
- Must commit to a consistent shift schedule throughout the event
- Peak activity periods require flexibility, energy, and a team-first mindset
