Description:  Your internship will be a summer tour de force working for one of the largest and most prestigious professional tennis tournaments in the world, the Cincinnati Open. Working closely with the Cincinnati Open marketing team, you will be involved with idea generation and execution, experiential marketing and special events, fulfilling sponsorship obligations, tournament digital platforms, branding and more.

                       5460 Courseview Dr., Mason, OH 45040
 
 Dates:     June 2, 2026 – August 24, 2026
               End date can be extended depending on intern availability.  
 
Qualifications     
  • Strong organizational and time management skills        
  • Strong oral and written communication skills       
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment      
  • Ability to write copy and vary voice and style based on platform      
  • Must be a self-starter        
  • Interest in sports and live events industry        
  • Working experience of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Canva        
  •  Familiarity with or interest in social media         
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to run the absolute best tournament possible  
 
Responsibilities      
  • Assist with tournament website and app content management         
  • Assist with reviewing creative and design requests to ensure all printed and digital materials are within brand and campaign guidelines       
  •  Identify and locate existing photos and videos that meet needs for tournament projects, sponsors, etc.      
  • Write and edit copy for web stories, app push notifications and other platforms    
  • Assist with tournament influencer campaign         
  • Manage and organize sponsor creative assets for various digital platforms 
  • Assist with planning and execution of tournament special events such as summer lead-up events, press conferences, media events and more       
  • Idea generation for tournament social media content
  • Assist with data and metric tracking before and during tournament         
  • Other duties as assigned  

General Hours  
Prior to July 28:      Hours are generally 9 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday, with occasional nights and weekends depending on special events or projects.
July 28 - August 24:     Hours will vary depending upon the day and responsibilities of the position. Overtime hours should be expected the weeks prior to and are required during the Cincinnati Open (August 11-24, 2026). Overtime hours will be determined by your supervisor.

Compensation:  Hourly plus OT
