Make a maximum impact on your growing résumé at the Western & Southern Open! The premier tennis event in the Midwest is offering multiple individuals the opportunity to assist with fan engagement activities, photography coverage and brand ambassador roles.

Dates:

Tournament dates: August 15-23, 2020

Candidates must be available to work throughout the tournament dates, including weekend and evening shifts. Extended hours will be necessary.
Location:

Lindner Family Tennis Center located in Mason, OH (5460 Courseview Dr., 45040).

Volunteer Responsibilities:

On-court activities
Player autograph sessions
Booth activities
Fan engagement opportunities

Additional Information:

Candidates must exhibit excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, plus possess a “can-do,” team-first attitude. Must be a self-starter and work with independence, punctuality and confidence. Must be able to work extended hours in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have an interest in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, graphic design, photography or related field. College undergrad and grad students are eligible for this opportunity.

This opportunity will provide excellent, hands-on experience in public relations and corporate sponsorships. Selected volunteers should maintain a professional appearance and have appropriate shorts or skirts and comfortable shoes. Tournament credentials, meals and shirts will be provided. Volunteers must have their own housing and transportation. This opportunity is unpaid as it is a volunteer role.
