The Starting Times Reservationist schedules appointments with members/guests for golf reservations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Thorough knowledge of general administration procedures as would normally be acquired through at least one-year experience in a customer service position
• Must have computer and multi-line phone system experience

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Answer telephones to schedule future golf starting times and communicate information in a pleasant and professional manner
• Accurately record date, time, number of players and rate of reservation in the Club’s reservation system
• Make corrections and update Club’s reservation system as appropriate when reservations have been filled or canceled
• Email and telephone members/guests to verify advance reservations
• Advises guests of any abnormal golf course conditions (overseeding, aerification etc.)
• Communicate with local hotels/resorts concerning golf course profile (conditions)
• Catalog all reservations from PGA TOUR Experiences and On-Line booking engine
• Special projects or other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; kneel; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
